Two fewer Hays County residents were hospitalized with COVID-19 on Friday than a day prior; and only half as many new cases were reported.
One hundred and three new cases of the coronavirus were reported to the county’s health department Friday, one day after 210 new cases came in.
Friday’s report also listed 1,157 active cases, 389 people who have recovered and that tests results in 71 cases are pending.
The county’s total number of positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 1,551.
