DRIPPING SPRINGS – The weather was perfect for a soccer game last Friday, Jan. 31, when the Dripping Springs Tigers hosted the Bowie High School Bulldogs.
In the first half, the Tigers were awarded a free kick and Joey Svoboda was called to make the kick; he set up and kicked the ball to teammate Dylan Zahn for the goal. The Tigers played consistent defense for the entire game and were able get the shutout.
The final score was Tigers 1, Bulldogs 0. The Tigers currently have a six-game winning streak and their next home game is Feb. 7 with the Del Valle High School Cardinals. The Tigers district record is currently 3-0 and the Cardinals record is 1-2.
