DRIPPING SPRINGS – After a hard-fought game Feb. 7, with several lead changes, the score ended in a tie at 39 after regulation play, but the game between the Dripping Springs High School Tigers and Akins High School Eagles boys basketball teams went into overtime.
In overtime, the Tigers missed a few free throws and had one turnover. The final score was Tigers 43, Eagles 47.
The Tigers' current district record is five wins and six losses. The University Interscholastic League Bi-District playoffs are scheduled to begin Feb. 18.
