The Hays High School boys basketball team (6-7 district, 14-19 overall) traveled to Cedar Park High School to take on the Timberwolves (5-8 district, 14-18 overall) Friday, Feb. 7. The game, which was neck-and-neck for the duration, ended in a 40-38 loss for the Hawks. The Hawks’ last game of season will be at press time Tuesday, Feb. 11, when they host Leander High School.
