DRIPPING SPRINGS – After a weather delay on Friday night, the Dripping Springs High School Tigers boys soccer team hosted the Austin High School Maroons Saturday, Feb. 22.
The Tigers scored three goals in the first half and the halftime score was Tigers 3, Maroons 0.
Tiger Victor Krutikon scored the first goal with an assist from Parker Johnson. The second goal was made by Logan Kraham with an assist from Eduar Miranda and the third goal was scored by Joey Svoboda with an assist from Dylan Zahn. The Maroons stepped up their defense in the second half and did not allow a goal in the second half.
Maroons fell short and the final score was Tigers 3, Maroons 2.
In district play, the Tigers' record is 5-2-1, which is currently second place. The Tigers' next home game is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. They will host the Lake Travis High School Cavaliers, who are currently in first place with a record of 6-1.
