The Johnson High School girls softball team bounced back from its first loss of the season by beating the Clemens High School Buffaloes 5-1 in a district matchup Tuesday, March 11, which brought the teams record to 14-1-1 overall and 3-0 district. The Lady Jags are currently first place in the district and will face Judson High School at press time Tuesday, March 18. The team’s last home game of the season will be a nondistrict matchup against La Vernia High School at 7 p.m. April 1.
