North Hays County Fire/Rescue hosted a push-in ceremony to dedicate its new fire engine, No. 62, into service at its Driftwood station Saturday, March 22. A push-in ceremony is a fire department tradition, dating back to horse-drawn equipment, which had to be pushed into the bay after use.
