WIMBERLEY — Wimberley ISD is holding upcoming presentations on the district’s 2025 bond.
Led by WISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Bonewald, the following presentations that are still available and open to the public are:
• Thursday, March 27 - Wimberley Village Library, 10 a.m.
• Monday, March 31 - Danforth Junior High Cafeteria, 6 p.m.
Attendees at the presentations will hear about the proposed projects that make up the bond, the process that was taken to prioritize the projects, the potential tax impact of an approved bond, when and where to vote and more. In addition, at the Danforth presentation, attendees will be able to tour the campus to see some of the areas that would be addressed within the bond program.
Information regarding the bond continues to be added to the district website at www.wimberleyisd.net/2025bond. Visitors to the site can access proposed project lists, tax impact documents, voting information, a summary info sheet and more.
Early voting for the May 3 bond election will take place between April 22-26 and April 28-29 for voters in Hays County. Election Day is May 3. In Wimberley, early voting and Election Day voting will take place in the Blanco Room of the Wimberley Community Center, located at 14068 Ranch Road 12, and at Texan Academy at the Scudder campus, located at 400 Green Acres Drive.
