I am 11 years old, I am writing to you about gun rights on behalf of my Trail Life Troop TX -0316. Gun rights fundamentally secure all our rights, they protect life and property, they provide the means to hunt and secure food for a family. They ensure that we the people remain in control of our destiny. Gun ownership is a serious responsibility that as law abiding and responsible citizens requires practice and requires understanding the rules of gun safety and safe storage out of reach of small children and criminals. I am learning marksmanship and safe handling is part of earning my riflemen merit badge.I would suggest every American understand their rights and seek training opportunities in safe use of firearms.
