CLARK After losing its first game in a 4A D2 Regional Semifinal best-of-three game series 2-1 Thursday, May 15, against the Sweeny High School Bulldogs, and a day off at home with no game Friday, the Wimberley High School Texans baseball team came back to La Grange Saturday, May 17, and won 5-2 to force a deciding game three and shutout the Bulldogs 3-0 to take the series. The Texans now advance to the regional finals in a best-of-three game series against Sinton High School; all games will be played at North East Sports Park in San Antonio with game one at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, game two at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and game three, if necessary, 30 minutes after game two.
