PHOTOS BY URSULA ROGERS The Johnson High School Jaguars baseball team took on the Round Rock High School Dragons in a best-of-three game series during the regional semifinals round of playoffs, held May 15, 16 and 17. Despite the Jags’ 4-3 loss in game one, they came back to beat the Dragons 8-4 and 7-2 in games two and three, respectively. The Jaguars earned a spot in the Elite 8 and will take on Lake Travis High School in the regional finals at Concordia University in Austin. Game one will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23. Game two will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 24. If necessary, game three will begin 45 minutes after game two ends.
