Buda hosts ribbon cutting, inaugural bike ride on newly-completed trails

The city of Buda hosted the grand opening of the Onion Creek and Garlic Creek trails Friday, May 30. The Onion Creek Trail, which is a part of the 2021 Buda Bonds package, is a multi-use trail that runs along Onion Creek and is approximately 7,700 feet long. The trails are part of a larger trail system that will eventually connect FM 1626 to Old San Antonio Road. Following a short presentation, Mayor Lee Urbanovsky led attendees down the trail for a group ride.
