3 more lives lost to coronavirus

“We’re encouraged by seeing fewer cases reported over the past several days but want to remind everyone this is far from over,” he said. “COVID-19 is still very active in Hays County and we all need to help to slow the spread.”


Schneider reminds everyone to continue wearing masks, washing hands and staying distanced while in public.


The County’s total of lab-confirmed cases is 3,865; of those, 3,018 are considered active. The number of individuals considered recovered is 830. The number of negative tests is 11,197. Schneider is awaiting results on 52 tests.
