Approximately 700 to 800 people gathered at the Hays County Courthouse Saturday, June 14, for one of several “No Kings” protests held around the country on the same day. According to www.nokings.org, the movement was intended to be a nationwide day of defiance by rejecting authoritarianism and to “show the world what democracy really looks like.”
