AS THE WORLD WATCHES
We are suppling ISRAEL with ammunition and money which they have been using since Oct. 6 2023 to kill Palestinians —- Men, women and children —- in the guise of killing Hamas —- and to get the Palestinians out of the Gaza Strait which was allotted to the Palestinians in 1994. (The Gaza Strait is a small strip of land bordering the Mediterranean on the far south end of Israel.
It’s true that Hamas launched a missile on Israel which killed Israelis. But does this single missile warrant a year and 9 months of constant bombardment of hospitals and homes, killing THOUSANDS of Palestinians along with foreign doctors, reporters and aide workers?
Now the Israelis, under the direction of their Prime Minister Benjamin NETANYAHU are in the process of starving the remaining Palestinians by not allowing food trucks into the devastated areas. When trucks ARE allowed in the Palestinians approaching the trucks are shot by Israeli guards.
The USA continues supplying Israel with ammo and money. If a US citizen complains about what is happening he or she is slapped in jail.
According to the Watson Institution for International Affairs Israel has received 17.9 Billion in military aide since Oct’ 23 and a yearly allowance of 3.9 Billion — payment to keep out “friend” friendly in this vital corner of the globe.
But Netanyahu is not stopping with the Gaza Strip. Iran received his calling card with rockets hitting Iran’s capital and various so-called “nuclear sites”. Then the US got involved sending bombs from airplanes and a submarine to sites Israel could not reach from land.
Why is it that WE can have Nuclear capability and Iran cannot? Why don’t we just call the whole thing off
Apparently, that is NOT an option.
Citizens protesting with signs is a good idea. Also writing to our US Congressmen and Congresswomen who are working every day to keep our nation intact for the betterment of ALL is also an option. Here addresses of three of those people:

Comments Welcome, Victoria Taylor
In late July, 2024, I had heard rumors that that the Commissioner's Court (CC) were discussing amongst themselves and consultants about a road bond election in Nov. I looked at the agendas for the two meetings before Aug. 13th and could not see details of a bond election. I could see no back-up information either.
With only three minutes allowed to speak on August 13, 2024, I spoke of the need for road improvements for safety and mobility throughout the county. I wasn't allowed to ask many questions about 31 road projects that were part of the bond package in these three minutes.
I served Hays County on Adv. Boards three times since 2001. Why couldn't the Commissioner’s Court appoint a Transportation Adv. Board to get public input and have an open and transparent process? An appointed committee of eleven citizens -not five- would represent the public interests from the entire County. Have public meetings in all parts of the county. This would help eliminate the perception of “pay to play” back room dealings (over 40 consultants -12 out of state- groups gave $225K for Prop A passage).
The Transportation Adv. Committee could have public meetings, look at all road projects, score them and rank those that are highest priority for safety and mobility. This open process would give Hays voters confidence in open, transparent government. Yes I have stated publicly that many current roads in high growth areas in Buda, Kyle and San Marcos, need to be designed and built or rebuilt.
We can have safe roads that move people throughout this fast growing county. Follow the Texas Open Meetings Act, have a transparent process, and we all win.
