HAYS COUNTY – Community members have an opportunity to submit feedback on Hays County’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) through Aug. 8.
The county is developing a CIP that will position Hays County to deliver countywide services in buildings that most effectively support its citizens, according to the county’s website. A CIP is a list of facility upgrade projects and associated costs that will be prioritized based on their potential to benefit the community. It also ensures that the county effectively manages its facility resources to address the needs of the community and plans for future growth and development.

For the CIP, the county is hosting a virtual open house with materials and comment opportunities for community members that will be available through Aug. 8. The feedback is geared to help the county understand the public’s use of countywide services, convenience of the services’ locations and improvements to the following facilities:
• Calaboose African American Museum
