On Thursday, July 31, the city of Kyle hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting block party to celebrate the opening of the extension of Marketplace Avenue from FM 1626 to Kohlers Crossing. The project was the first of the 2022 Kyle Bond projects to come to fruition. The road officially opened to vehicle traffic at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1.
