The Hays High School Hawks defense holds the line against Elgin High School during first-half action Friday, Aug. 28, at Bob Shelton Stadium. The Hawks rolled to a commanding 43-13 victory over the Wildcats in the non-district matchup. The Hawks will travel to Pflugerville High School for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff Friday, Sept. 5.
