WIMBERLEY — The Wimberley High School Wellness Center is teaming with The Greater Mercy Foundation and Wimberley Parks and Recreation/Blue Hole Regional Park to host the second annual Connection is Key: Suicide Awareness Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.
This year the event will add a 5K(ish) walk/run, set to begin at 9:30 a.m. The event will continue to include a 3/4 mile memorial walk and a wellness fair. The event is donation only, including event T-shirts available day-of for a suggested donation of $20.
There is still time to sponsor and donate to the event, which raises funds that will be split between The Greater Mercy Foundation and the WHS Wellness Center. Visit thegreatermercyfoundation.org/connection-is-key for more information.
