
KYLE – Three people are facing multiple charges after Kyle Police Department officers discovered stolen mail and fraudulent credit cards during a traffic stop.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 3, KPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. The driver initially provided a fake name, but officers identified her as 30-year-old Torie Salitrero of San Antonio, who had active warrants for fraud out of New Braunfels, stated a KPD news release.
Police also discovered eight credit cards with various names, a crowbar and a duffle bag with mail from 37 different addresses in the vehicle.

Salitrero and two passengers, Francisco Espinoza, 33, and Emmilio Camacho, 35, both of San Antonio, were taken into custody.
All three suspects were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity and theft of mail. Salitrero also faces additional charges for possession of a controlled substance, fraudulent possession and use of a credit card, failure to identify as a fugitive, in addition to the outstanding warrant.
