Johnson High School volleyball (24-6 overall) player Macy Philips (No. 12) sets the ball to continue play during the Jaguars’ non-district matchup against Pflugerville High School (10-18 overall) Friday, Sept. 5. The Jaguars won all three sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-16), earning coach Thomas Kane his 500th career win as a head coach.

The Jaguars will begin district play at press time Tuesday, Sept. 9, when they host San Marcos High School (3-4 overall).
