DRIPPING SPRINGS — After traveling to and beating the Del Valle High School Cardinals 3-0 Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Dripping Springs Lady Tigers volleyball team hosted the undefeated Austin High School Maroons Friday, Oct. 3, where they also celebrated Parents Night with all the varsity players and their parents.
In game one, the Tigers came out strong and won 25-16, but lost a close game two (27-25). The Maroons went on to win games three and four (25-18 and 25-16).
The Maroons are undefeated with a district record of 6-0 and the Lady Tigers’ current district record is 4-3.
After the match with the Maroons, the Lady Tigers took a moment and recognized University of Texas commit, Henley Anderson, who surpassed 2,000 career kills. She was recognized along with all her teammates in attendance.
The Lady Tigers’ next home game will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10.
