Dripping Springs High School Tiger band places 11th at state contest

In its 20th appearance at the University Interscholastic League 6A State Marching Contest, the Dripping Springs High School Tiger marching band earned  an 11th place ranking in the finals round. The preliminary round was held Monday, Nov. 3, and the top 14 bands advanced to the finals, held Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The band will compete with the 2025 show, “WALALA: Taking Joy Seriously,” at the Bands of America San Antonio Regiona at the Alamodome, Saturday, Nov. 8, before heading to Indianapolis for the Bands of America Grand National Championships Nov. 13–15.
