Wimberley High School graduation to be held at Texan Stadium

WIMBERLEY  — The Wimberley High School class of 2026’s graduation ceremony will be held at Wimberley ISD’s Texan Stadium.

This is due to a schedule change beyond Wimberley ISD’s control, where Texas State University’s Strahan Coliseum is no longer available to host the WHS graduation ceremony scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026.

The ceremony will remain on May 15 and will begin at 8 p.m, but will be held at Texan Stadium.

It is expected that Wimberley High School’s graduation will return to Texas State for the class of 2027’s ceremony, stated the district in a newsletter.

“We appreciate your flexibility with this change as we look forward to celebrating the class of 2026,” the newsletter read.
