Wilson Emery Fisher, age 77, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Kyle, Texas. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on December 18, 1947, to his parents, Simeon Emery and Dorthy Lou Clark Fisher. Wilson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as Senior Master Sergeant. After retiring from the USAF, he became a Federal Air Marshal and, after another 23 years of federal service, retired as the Assistant Federal Security Director for Operations for the Transportation Security Administration at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Wilson is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dr. M. Lynette Fisher. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Laurie A. Fisher; their children: Lin Fisher Crowson and her husband, Chad, Rachael Stonebraker (Nikolewski), Jason Emery Fisher and his wife, Samantha, and Nikolas Simeon Fisher and his wife, Bailey; grandchildren: Layla Grace Crowson, Jason Avery, Emery Fisher, and Kaitlyn Fisher; his sister, Marsha Lynn Scoggin and her husband, James; and his mother-in-law, Irene F. Nikolewski.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1018 E. Grayson St., San Antonio, Texas 78208. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
