SO MANY SENSELESS WARS
I think the guy who won WW11 had the right idea. What was his name? Patton. General Patton
You know what he said? He said, instead of all the men being killed, to just let the two Warlords of the opposing aggression meet on the battle ground and fight it out. The one still standing would be the victor.
Think about it. It makes a lot of sense. Of course the spoils would have to be agreed on beforehand. Something to think about before we send our men, and women, into another useless conflict.
Think of all the men and women who could have had productive lives if they had not been killed on God forsaken battle fields. Think of the inventions and progress these soldiers could have contributed to our planet.
In America alone thousands have died in conflicts, first on our shores for independence from the British, then with the Indians for more territory, and then with Mexico for more territory. After that we sent our young men and women cross the Atlantic for 2 World Wars and then across the Pacific for two other wars we could have done
without.
We are supposed to be the INTELLIGENT species on this planet but we still fight like a pack of wolfs .......hovering for the kill.
Please God, give us the grace and the knowledge to be smarter regarding how we settle our disputes. Personally, I like the Patton Way.
