Residents of the Meadows of Buda neighborhood banded together to fill a need when resident Christina Nichols, left, took to social media to ask for gifts for residents at Buda Oaks: Senior Assisted Living & Care. “I started thinking of all the people in nursing homes who may not receive a visitor or gift this holiday season. I sent a call and within 45 minutes, 20-plus residents of Buda Oaks were adopted,” said Nichols.
