In front of a full crowd at city hall, the new mayor of Kyle, Yvonne Flores-Cale, and District 1 council member Courtney Goza were sworn in Tuesday, Dec. 23, by Judge Beth Smith.
Flores-Cale lets out a small cheer after saying the oath. “We did it,” the mayor-elect said. “I want to thank everybody who went out and voted. I want to thank everybody who showed up tonight.”
