October 11, 1936 - December 21, 2025
Harvey Gordon Robertson, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025. Born on October 11, 1936, in Milford, Maine, to the late Ruth Vivian-Robertson and Herbert A. Robertson, Harvey was a man of unwavering character defined by his lifelong commitment to his family, his country, and his community.
Harvey was a proud veteran whose military career uniquely spanned three branches of service: the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Air Force. Following his distinguished military retirement, he brought his dedicated work ethic to Adams Extract, where he served faithfully for 20 years before his second retirement.
In his own words, Harvey's greatest source of pride rested in four pillars: his military career; his remarkable 25-gallon blood donor-ship; his children; and above all, his beloved wife, Alice.
Harvey was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Alice "Dolly" Robertson; his son, Michael Robertson; his sister, Judy Richards; and his parents.
His legacy of love and service lives on through his surviving family:
• His son, Mark Robertson of Buda, TX, and his children, Christina, Victoria, Stuart, and Benjamin.
• His son, David Robertson and wife Carrie of Kyle, TX, and their daughter, Emily.
• His daughter, Sheila Robertson-Pierce and husband Gary Pierce of Baltimore, MD, and their children, Megan and Ryan.
He is also survived by his brothers, Herbert A. Robertson Jr. of Leeds, Maine, and Richard W. Robertson of Round Rock, TX.
In recognition of Harvey's lifelong commitment to saving lives, the family suggests making a blood donation at your local American Red Cross or contributing to a veteran-focused charity of your choice, such as the Wounded Warrior Project.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Cryptside service to honor and remember Harvey's life on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Onion Creek Memorial Park Mausoleum 11610 Chapel Ln Manchaca, Texas.
