The Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce and the city of Buda hosted their second annual Ground Dog Day event Sunday, Feb. 1. Beans, pictured, zooms toward the snowman and sun stuffed animals — how he chose whether it would be six more weeks of winter or the beginning of spring.
Margarita Barco and her dog, Beans, were chosen by random selection to be this year’s ground dog. After a bit of confusion, event leaders determined Beans' choice to be spring.
