Dripping Springs High School sophomore Lily Aleshire (No. 20) drives toward the hoop with two Lake Travis High School Cavaliers defending Jan. 30 in University Interscholastic League 6A Region IV District 26 league play. The Lady Tigers kept the score close in the first half, with a halftime score of Lady Cavaliers 30, Lady Tigers 27. However, the Lady Cavaliers came out strong in the second half and held on to win the contest 62-53. Now, the Lady Tigers will host Del Valle High School Cardinals at press time Feb. 3 and then, will face the state-ranked Westlake High School Chaparrals at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10.
