DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers’ basketball season came to an end after playing in the final game of University Interscholastic League (UIL) 6A Region IV District 26 against Westlake High School Chaparrals Tuesday, Feb. 10, during senior night.
The Chaps entered the matchup with an unblemished 34–0 record and sat atop the district standings. According to MaxPreps rankings, the Chaps were rated No. 2 in Texas and No. 12 nationally.
Westlake controlled the contest from the opening tip and secured a decisive 71-27 victory over the Lady Tigers, who closed the season with an overall record of 19-12 and a 4-8 mark in district play.
Prior to tipoff, the Lady Tigers’ seniors were honored in a special ceremony alongside their parents, receiving flowers in recognition of their dedication and contributions throughout the season.
