The city of Kyle unveiled its first commissioned art piece Saturday, Feb. 14, at Steeplechase Park. The piece, titled “Sky Blooms,” features six eight-foot metal flowers, which, when dusk approaches, displays the flowers on the ground with light.
Bell spoke at the event, detailing what an honor it was to be the city’s first commissioned art piece. “I believe that public art should be for everyone — and that art in general should be for everyone — and I designed this piece so that it could be interactive with people at all ages and abilities,” said Bell.
