Buda celebrates Black History Month

The Buda Economic Development Corporation, city of Buda and Keeping Communities Connected hosted the seventh annual Black History Celebration Saturday, Feb. 21.

The event featured a panel discussion. During the conversation, Ja-Mar Prince, left, talks of his childhood boxing heroes, such as Jack Johnson and Muhammad Ali: “Muhammad Ali was redefining what it meant to be Black in America,” said Prince.


African art pieces throughout history were available for attendees to browse at Buda City Hall.
