DRIPPING SPRINGS  — The Dripping Springs High School boys basketball team closed out its season in University Interscholastic League 6A Region IV District 26 with a district record of 0–12 and an overall record of 12–20 with a home game against the Austin High School Maroons Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Prior to tipoff, the Tigers’ seniors were honored alongside their parents, teammates and members of the Dripping Springs community in recognition of their dedication and hard work throughout the season.

Following the game, head coach Thomas Acker said he was proud of the effort his players showed on the court. He added that, despite the challenges of the season, the team never gave up, continuing to compete and fight in every game.

The Tigers will return four varsity players next season. After a few days of rest, the team is expected to resume workouts and begin preparations for the upcoming year.
