Hays High School Hawks host Bob Shelton Relays — Eleven out of 13 seniors on the Hays track team pose for a photo. The senior track members are Lilianna Ledesma, Angela Huffman, Marli Hartnett, Sabine Williams, Alexis Sanchez, Isabel Burke, Endia Stigall, Kai Triche, Nathan Alejandro, Guerin Bernardin, Ty Allbright, Elijah Garcia and Carter Gonzales.

BUDA — The Hays High School Hawks hosted the Bob Shelton Relays Thursday, March 12, seeing 14 schools competing in a full day of fast times, strong performances and exciting competition across all events.

Athletes from across the region gathered in Buda to showcase their talents on the track and in the field events, making for an action-packed meet at the Hays campus.

The Hawks junior varsity team will return to competition March 26 at Johnson High School in Buda, while varisty will attend the Charles Austin Classic at Texas State University March 27.
