Hays Hawks top Lehman Lobos in crosstown baseball showdown

The Hays and Lehman high school baseball teams faced off in a two-game series — April 22 and April 24 — to end each team's regular season. The Lobos were shutout 10-0 in the first game and lost 6-3 in the second game, which closed out their season with a 5-27 overall record and a 3-11 district record. The Hawks placed second in the district, with a 21-10-1 overall record and an 11-3 district record, earning them entrance into the Bi-District round of playoffs.
