Lola House Collective, alongside the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Tuesday, July 7, in celebration of its business, which opened earlier this year.
Co-owners Jordan Patiño and Abby Arechiga, pictured above, began the idea for the business a year ago, when the two had a suite across from each other at another facility. From there, Patiño began researching properties and the pair joined the Buda HIVE Cohort and developed the idea of the Lola House Collective — a one-stop shop for visitors. There are six small businesses within, including: Hex & Glow, Frankie & June Hair Salon, Tell Me I’m Pretty Nail Co., The Girl’s Room Skin Club, Barber Addy and HALES | Hair & Men’s Grooming.
According to Patiño, the name comes from wanting a cute, “cool girl” name and offering more than one service, instead opting to be a “collective” resource. She also stated that the business hopes to have items from small businesses sold in the foyer.
