“A bridge is a simple thing. It’s easy to stand on, but it’s hard to build. This one crosses Onion Creek and it creates a new connection between [FM] 1626 and [FM] 2770,” said Mayor Lee Urbanovsky, during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new bridge at Cole Springs Road, held Friday, July 17.
“What opens today is real access. A faster route for people who live here and for first responders,” Mayor Lee Urbanovsky said as he addressed the crowd. “To everyone who has played a park in planning and building this bridge, I want to say, ‘thank you.’ Buda is a better place because we have worked together.”
