Dripping Springs ISD students work to National Champions title

DRIPPING SPRINGS — Twenty-one Dripping Springs ISD students helped lead the Central Texas Shooting Team to a National Championship.

The team competed at the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) National Championship in July in Columbus, Ohio, taking part in 11 disciplines over six days, including pistol, revolver, rifle and pistol caliber carbine (PCC) events.

The team — which included the following students from DSISD — brought home 49 topthree finishes, highlighted by 13 individual national titles and four team national championships.
