The Hays Hawk Marching Band and Color Guard held its first full band rehearsal in the school’s new multipurpose activity center Aug. 9. The facilities were funded through the May 2025 bond and completed this summer. They offer the ability for a turfed, lighted and covered practice, protecting students from the Texas heat.
