Wimberley Texans football remains undefeated

The Wimberley High School Texans football team traveled the Lampasas High School to face the Badgers as they prepare for upcoming district play. The Texans remain undefeated after taking down the Badgers for the first time in two years, with a score of 35-14. 

The Texans’ defense proved itself invaluable during the game, as one of only a few defenses able to keep the Badgers under 20 points in the last eight seasons. 

The Texans will return home to host Bellville in their final nondistrict matchup of the season at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25.
