The Kyle Area Senior Zone joined the Hays County Food Bank for the annual Stack the Mac challenge in September. KASZ partnered with Unforgettable Friends and Families, The Southpark Agency, Walmart, Nu Sigma Sigma Chapter Sorority Chapter, students from Lehman High School and city and county officials to help stack the mac for Hunger Action Month. The month-long endeavor ended with an orange and yellow celebration lunch Tuesday, Sept. 29. With community support and partnerships, KASZ was able to collect more than 1,000 boxes of macaroni and cheese.
