Wimberley Arts Fest 2026
Wimberley Valley Art League’s 19th annual Wimberley Arts Fest is just around the corner! Arts Fest is our annual outdoor festival, on Oct. 17 and 18. This year’s festival will be near the square in downtown Wimberley. The setting is located just off Ranch Road 12, behind the Junk Gypsy and adjacent to the Oak Park public parking area and the Art on 12 Gallery. It’s walkable from all over downtown and parking shuttles run continuously throughout the festival with multiple stops around town.
Wimberley Arts Fest is a beautiful outdoor festival featuring 70 plus fabulous visual artists from around the country. Continuous live music will play throughout the weekend with plenty of shaded seating, featuring nine unique bands. A variety of culinary treats and drinks from various food trucks and beverage vendors will be available on both Saturday and Sunday.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Look for signs around town to point you to all the public parking areas where shuttles will be waiting for your arrival.

Art Scared
The San Marcos Art League brings Art Scared to the San Marcos Downtown Square Saturday, Oct. 24. Started in 2019, this temporary Halloween public art installation is open to area children, grades K-12. Participants are invited to paint a section of a designated window with a fall or Halloween-themed image. First, second and third place prizes are awarded for elementary, middle school and high school students. All participants leave the event with a gift bag and extra paint supplies and brushes to create more art at home. The painted windows remain on display for the public to enjoy through early November.
In conjunction with Art Scared is the Art League's special Spooky Market, a Halloween-themed version of the Art Squared Arts Market. This market is open to anything fun and spooky, bringing the best local artists together in one place. The Spooky Market takes place at the San Marcos Downtown Square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 24.
