The Dripping Springs High School Tiger Marching Band earned a First Division rating at the Region 18 Marching Contest Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Burger Stadium in Austin.
The band performed its 2026 show, “The Uncommon Man” and marked the 49th consecutive year that the school advanced to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Area D Marching Contest.
The Tigers will take the field for its preliminary performance at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio. Finals will be at 7:45 p.m., where five bands will advance to the UIL 6A State Marching Contest.
