She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1970 and then from Angelo State University in 1974. She was an English teacher in Big Spring and Kerrville ISD. Reading was one of her passions and she passed that on to her daughters and students.

Leah was full of life and usually had a bright smile on her face. She had a wonderful sense of humor that brought laughter and happiness to those around her. Her loving and caring nature made her a special presence in the people she loved. She had a way of making life brighter simply by being herself.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, Leah's joyful spirit and loving heart will never be forgotten. Her life was a reminder to embrace laughter, give generously, love deeply, and find happiness in the moments that matter most.

Leah will be remembered with enduring love and missed more than words can express. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her daughters and all those whose lives were touched by her warmth, humor, kindness, and beautiful spirit.
