Kyle’s Fourth of July fireworks: masks on and tune in

By Megan Wehring

The city of Kyle is partnering with radio station KTSW 89.9 to live stream music with the Fourth of July fireworks show.

Hays County COVID-19 cases are on the rise. If interacting with those outside of their household, Kyle residents are advised to wear masks and remain inside their vehicles. The City of Kyle encourages viewers to help keep the entire community safe while celebrating Independence Day.

To protect pets from the fireworks, pet owners are advised to leave them at home and shielded from loud noises by keeping them inside.

The fireworks will be launched from the Plum Creek Golf Course at sundown around 9 p.m. Viewers can keep an eye on a countdown clock on the City of Kyle’s website. Safe parking locations are available at the parking lots around the intersection of Kohler’s Crossing and Kyle Parkway.
