Burleson Road work still on track for June completion

Relief for commuters waiting for the end of work on Burleson Street is but a few months away.

According to Leon Barba, engineer for the city of Kyle, the project is still on track to be completed in June.

As of Jan. 21, Barba reported the project is an estimated 73 percent complete with the section from Center to Rodriguez streets open for local traffic only as workers are still present. The roadway north of Rodriguez to south of the roundabout is still closed.
