Five Hays County residents were hospitalized with the COVID-19 virus as of 4 p.m. Monday. The number of new confirmed cases grew by 6 to 155 overnight Sunday, the county reported.
So far there has only been one fatality. Seventy-seven cases remained active, while that same number of people had recovered. Test results were pending in 11 cases and there had been 1,539 negative tests.
Kyle continues to have the most cases at 66, followed by San Marcos with 50 and Buda with 20.
