Eight hundred and eighty five Hays County residents have now been tested for the COVID-19 virus and of that, 135 have been positive. Eight more confirmed cases were added to the April 20 4 p.m. report. Test results were pending in 18 cases and there have been 732 negative tests. One person has died and 58 have recovered. As of April 20 there were 76 active cases and four hospitalizations.
Kyle still has the most confirmed cases at 56, followed by 43 in San Marcos and 18 in Kyle. Eighty three of the confirmed cases have been in women and 52 in men.
